Does it actually render, or just preview?
It really renders. Your photo is processed by your camera itself — the same way it would look if you had taken the shot with that recipe in the moment. The result you see is the real thing, using the same color science your Fuji is already known for. Not a filter, not an imitation.
Which phones are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or newer, and Android phones with a USB-C port. Just plug your camera into your phone with a compatible cable and you're ready to go. Older iPhones with a Lightning port work too, with Apple's Camera Adapter.
Which cameras are supported?

The app works with most modern Fujifilm cameras that have custom recipe slots and a USB port. That includes:

  • X100 series — X100VI, X100V
  • X-T series — X-T5, X-T4
  • X-H series — X-H2, X-H2S
  • X-S series — X-S20, X-S10
  • X-Pro series — X-Pro3
  • GFX series — GFX 100 II, GFX 100S II, GFX 50S II

We're actively working on supporting more Fujifilm cameras. If you try the app with a camera that isn't on this list — or something doesn't behave right on yours — please get in touch. We'd love to hear from you and work together to add proper support for your body.

Will applying a recipe overwrite my existing custom slots?
Only if you want it to. Every time you save a recipe to a camera slot, the app asks you to confirm first. You can also try out recipes on your photos without ever changing what's saved on your camera — your saved recipes stay exactly the way you left them.
Can I share my own recipes?
Yes, you can share your own recipes with the community — as long as they respect the community guidelines. Each shared recipe can include the full settings, your credit, and sample photos. You can edit or take down your recipes at any time.
Is it free?
Yes, you can use the app for free. Build your recipe library, browse the community, and save one recipe to your camera's C1 slot at no cost. The Pro upgrade unlocks the rest of your camera's slots (C2–C7), unlimited photo rendering in Darkroom, higher-quality exports, and recipe backup. Pro is available monthly, yearly, or as a one-time purchase — never a forced subscription.
