1. What Fuji Recipes Does
Fuji Recipes is a mobile application enabling Fujifilm camera owners to read, edit, and write film simulation recipes to their camera over USB-C. The platform includes a community gallery for sharing and downloading recipes.
2. Eligibility
Users must be at least 13 years old. Those under 18 need parental or guardian consent to use the service.
3. Your Account
Community features require account creation with a valid email address. Users are responsible for credential confidentiality and all account activity. Accounts can be deleted anytime, which removes the profile, shared recipes, and uploaded photos from the gallery.
4. USB Camera Communication
The app uses Apple's ImageCaptureCore framework to communicate with your Fujifilm camera over USB-C. Key points:
- Writing a recipe overwrites existing preset slot settings
- Users must verify the correct slot before confirming operations
- USB communication cannot be guaranteed error-free
- Fuji Recipes is independent and not affiliated with Fujifilm Corporation
5. Community Gallery
Your content
Users retain ownership of shared recipes and photos, granting Fuji Recipes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for display and promotion.
Acceptable use
Illegal, offensive, infringing, spam, or off-topic content may be removed.
Other users' content
Recipes are for personal camera use only; bulk downloading or redistribution without permission is prohibited.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Premium features use Apple's App Store billing system. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before billing periods end. Apple handles refunds per their policies.
7. Intellectual Property
Fuji Recipes' design, code, interface, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws. Users cannot copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app. The application is independent of Fujifilm Corporation.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The developer disclaims all warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, successful USB communication, or user-submitted content accuracy.
9. Limitation of Liability
Developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or any subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for violating terms, abusing the gallery, or harmful conduct. Users may delete accounts anytime.
11. Changes to These Terms
Material updates will be communicated through the app. Continued use indicates acceptance of revised terms.
12. Governing Law
Terms follow applicable jurisdiction laws. Disputes require good-faith negotiation first, then competent court resolution if necessary.
